St John Mary Vianney – Br Francis Tan

August 4th, 2020|Tags: |

Saintly Pastor of Ars and extraordinary model of all servants of souls,  Despite the many hardships in your life, you kept a steady gaze on the Lord and continued to seek Him with all your heart.  May your humble and holy life inspire many more men and women to live their lives totally and fully for God.  In a special way, we ask for your intercession for all our priests today that they too may imitate you in bringing more souls to Jesus Christ.       We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, Amen.

The Ascension – Br Francis Tan

This is truly what we celebrate today in the Ascension – our oneness with Christ in His ascension. It is only because of His love for us, that He, Son of God, descended from heaven. And although Jesus ascended alone, we too also ascend, because we are in union with Him through the sharing of His body and blood in the Eucharist, and we cannot be separated from Him as He is our head and we are His body!
